SharePoint 2010 Service Pack 1


 

Sometime today Microsoft will release SP1 in the meantime you can read up on the changes/enhancements that are included like:

  • Site Recycle Bin
  • Support for SQL Server (code named Denali)
  • Support for Google Chrome and IE9 in IE8 Standard Mode
  • Shallow Copy

Attention

It is strongly recommended to install the June 2011 Cumulative Update immediately after the installation of Service Pack 1. The June Cumulative Update includes several important security and bug fixes that are not included Service Pack 1. Please make note of the following issues in the CU before proceeding.
