SharePoint Server 2010 Configuration NOT using the Wizard (PPTX)

Here is the slide deck for the session I gave at the Ottawa Windows Server User Group on the evening of March 22nd, 2011.

Session Description

This session for the IT Pro will go through some of the configuration of SharePoint Server 2010 when you don’t the “Configuration Wizard”. We shall look at basic SharePoint configuration (one-click install), integrating with SQL Server Reporting Services, a little FAST Search Server 2010, State Services, Cumulative Updates, User Profile Services, Account Configuration.

The purpose of the session is to go through some of the common configuration scenarios and gotchas that you might come across deploying SharePoint 2010 and/or FAST Search Server for SharePoint 2010 in your enterprise.
