Critical issue discovered in the recently released October Cumulative Updates for SharePoint Server 2010 and Project Server 2010

If you have installed the October CU, please contact Microsoft Support for assistance.  Microsoft will be posting additional information about the issue here as soon as we have it, and will make the Cumulative Update available for download again as soon as the issue has been fully resolved.

If you have already downloaded the update, DO NOT INSTALL it.

Additional information will be posted to the Microsoft SharePoint Team Blog when available.

UPDATE:: The workaround has been posted here.  Updated hotfixes/CUs have NOT yet been posted for KB 2394320 or KB 2394322.
