New ALM Features in Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010 Beta 2

There are a plethora of new features no matter what role you play in Visual Studio 2010 to help you increase your teams productivity.

Roles

  • Software Designers and Developers
  • Build Users
  • Testers and Quality Control Managers
  • Project Managers and Team Members
  • Version Control Users
  • Administrators

The new features available to your Team Projects after you upgrade are many and I encourage you to take a look what you can turn on:

  • Enable Test Management: Visual Studio Test Essentials allows you to better manage your tests.
  • Enable Lab Management: Create environments to run tests and collect data.
  • Agile Planning Workbooks: New planning workbooks are included in MSF for Agile Software Development v5.0 to help you plan your project and iterations.
  • Enable Reports: Due to changes you will find that the reports you had are no longer present.
