If you see something like this in SCVMM 2008 and your certain you’ve applied all your Hyper-V patches double check that these ones have been installed:
Hyper-V Update for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition (KB956589)
Update for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition (KB956774)
Then you should have this displayed upon reboot in SCVMM 2008
