KB957196 – Check-in event e-mail alert notification doesn’t work

If you want to configure Work Item Hyperlinks to use Team System Web Access make sure you apply the following hotfix first.  If you do not apply the hotfix check-in notifications emails will stop working.

NOTE:  If you have applied TFS 2008 SP1/VSTS 2008 SP1 you must install Team System Web Access 2008 SP1, uninstall any previous version first.
