SCVMM 2008 Beta::.. Another Successful P2V

I have been using the SCVMM 2008 Beta for quite a few months now and attempted to do another Physical to Virtual but this time with a Vista machine.

The SCVMM computer and the Vista desktop are on the same domain and initially when I started the process the agent install on the Vista machine just wouldn’t go.  I decided it might be a good idea to upgrade the Vista machine from RTM to SP1 and try again.

On the second try it went through without a hitch!  I am so excited about this product and what it allows you to do.  If you have multiple Hyper-V hosts in SCVMM you can push the P2V to any host you wish.
