Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007

So I moved into RTM territory on the week-end.  I upgraded my installation of Vista RC1 x64 to Vista Ultimate x64 which although took quite a while, worked flawlessly — I only received one (1) warning related to SQL Server 2005 (probably since some of those issues will be addressed in SP2 for SQL2K5).  The only step I had to do myself was upgrade my ATI video driver.

I removed all my Office 2007 beta products and installed the updated copies of all of those programs and that went without a hitch.

I find it very odd that Microsoft is using the same product keys for some programs, examples: Office 2007 Desktop programs and InfoPath 2007, Visio 2007 and Project 2007.  I only bring this up since after installing Office 2007 and its related products on two computers I find I don’t have enough activations left.  I have emailed support at MSDN to see what’s up.

The x64 version of Vista is still MIA on the MSDN download site for some reason??

Happy RTMing!
