Zune doesn’t support your current operating system (Windows Server 2008)

The new HDX laptop comes with Windows Vista x64, but of course if you’re a Hyper-V addict like me you will end up paving it and installing Windows Server 2008 x64 and adding the Hyper-V Role.

While you stare at the dialog in disbelief, relax and open an explorer window to the temp folder the Zune Software Setup created for unpacking the files

browse to the packages folder and execute the Zune-x64.msi which will install the software without the OS check.
